A few weeks ago, Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Houston, causing excessive damage and flooding to many communities. And directly after that, Hurricane Irma slammed the Florida coast, causing service disruptions, damage and flooding to various areas.
Now, community members and local waste and recycling companies are coming together to clean up massive amounts of waste, recyclables, debris and yard waste. And local haulers are beginning to send additional fleets, heavy-duty equipment and staff from their other locations to the hurricane-devastated areas to help with the cleanup.
