Pasadena, Calif., announced it has developed a new, free program to help businesses incorporate waste reduction practices into their daily operations.
The program, called Pasadena Zero Waste Partner Program, is part of the city’s commitment to achieve zero waste by 2040. Participating businesses will receive technical assistance and guidance on achieving these waste reduction goals, according to the city.
Pasadena-based businesses are encouraged to join the program by completing an online application or by contacting the Citizen Service Center. The program is sponsored by the city’s Public Works Recycling Program.
