Penn Waste Announces New Recycling Guidelines for Customers in Pennsylvania

In response to China’s waste import ban and contamination standard, Penn Waste has announced new recycling guidelines for its customers in Pennsylvania.

The guidelines, which went into effect on July 1, state that only clean and dry newspaper and dry and flattened cardboard, none with any food contact or contamination, is recyclable. The guidelines also say that regular paper, junk mail and magazines are no longer accepted in recycling bins.
