Hundreds of people signed up to bring hard-to-recycle items to a recycling drive held in Pittsburgh this past weekend.
The Pennsylvania Resources Council and Allegheny County Health Department partnered with WPXI to hold a Hard to Recycle Collection event at Galleria in Pittsburgh Mills. Area residents brought items like televisions, tires, and small electronics to be recycled for a small fee.
“We want to try to bring convenient and responsible recycling opportunities to residents of Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania,” Sarah Shea, Deputy Director of the Pennsylvania Resources Council said.
