The city of Charlotte, N.C., has selected Waste Pro to provide waste and recycling collection services to 127,000 multifamily residential units. Waste Pro will begin servicing the city on July 1.
Under Waste Pro’s new three-year contract, it will provide the city with solid waste and recycling collection on a weekly basis, with bulky items, such as furniture, collected upon request. Services will be based out of Waste Pro’s Concord operations.
“We are honored to have been awarded this contract and are working closely with the city on preparing for the transition, reviewing customer information and gathering staff and equipment for a smooth start up,” said Chip Gingles, division vice president of Waste Pro’s regional Concord office, in statement.
