Burns & McDonnell has completed a large-scale expansion of its Asset Health Centre, a facility dedicated to analytics, data collection and testing of advanced new power equipment.
The company said that the expansion at its headquarters in Kansas, US, is part of an effort to assist the transmission and distribution industry in meetings today’s demands, particularly in response to an upsurge in renewables and other distributed generation being connected to the grid.
The centre serves as a free equipment testing and demonstration resource of charge for Burns & McDonnell’s current clients.
