Cincinnati has been chosen by the U.S. Chamber Foundation for a national pilot program to increase recycling in local communities.
The U.S. Chamber Foundation launched its Beyond 34 pilot project in Orlando, Fla., in September 2017. Beyond 34 aims to increase the current U.S. recycling rate by providing a collaborative model through private-public partnerships. The Beyond 34 expansion effort is made possible with support from the Plastics Industry Association, Walgreens Boots Alliance and the Walmart Foundation.
