Baton Rouge, La could soon be home to an advanced recycling facility that will use pyrolysis to convert plastic waste into new products.
Brightmark, the company behind the proposed plant, has already built similar facilities in other parts of the U.S.
The process of pyrolysis involves breaking down plastic waste into its component parts and using them to create new products. The facility would create jobs and offer a solution to the growing problem of plastic waste.
