The township of Harrison, Pennsylvania has signed a new three-year garbage contract with Waste Management.

As part of the contract, household collection of hazardous materials and e-waste are included and residents can now get rid of these materials from their homes year-round. Residents who schedule pickups will be provided kit bags.

Waste Management was the township’s garbage hauler last year and was the only bidder for the new contract. After three years, there is an option for the township to continue the contract for an additional two years.
