Lakeshore Recycling Systems (“LRS”), the nation’s seventh-largest privately-held waste and recycling company, today announced its largest acquisition to-date: Maywood, Ill.-based Roy Strom Company (“Roy Strom”), among the most respected independent waste haulers in the Chicagoland market. The milestone addition of Roy Strom to the LRS family positions LRS for accelerated growth throughout Chicagoland and the broader Midwest. Financial terms were not disclosed and the acquisition is effective immediately.
