Mondelez announced an increased commitment to reduce its use of virgin plastics in its packaging, as part of its ongoing efforts to eliminate, reduce, replace and recycle plastic packaging across its portfolio. The vowed measures include:
- Make all packaging recyclable and labelled with consumer info by 2025
- Innovate to win by leading the way in pack optimization and material reduction without compromising shelf presence
- Eliminate unnecessary plastic where climate change impact is favorable while delivering product safety and quality
