California has an ambitious goal of recycling, composting or reducing 75 percent of its waste by 2020, and to help the state achieve that goal, the Foodservice Packaging Institute has launched a new website.
“California has the potential to recycle and compost more foodservice packaging, whether through curbside or in-store programs,” said Lynn Dyer, president of Foodservice Packaging Institute, in a statement. “The foodservice packaging industry is pleased to provide this online tool that will hopefully lead to the recovery of more quality materials.”
