The Liberty House Group has a Greensteel vision to create a competitive, sustainable steel sector in the UK. And to make that vision a reality, Liberty has launched Liberty Metal Recycling (LMR) to develop a network of advanced collection and processing facilities for both ferrous and nonferrous metals throughout the UK, U.S. and continental Europe.
With LMR, Liberty plans to set up a processing center in Newport, South Wales, to recommence liquid steel production from recycled scrap. Additionally, the company is scoping out recycling centers located in regions of high scrap metal generation to ramp up metal recycling.
