Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Westmoreland County Transit Authority (WCTA) and Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce officials are encouraging the public to share feedback on the authority’s Transit Development Plan now through March 22.
The plan is a strategic blueprint for improvements to transit service for Westmoreland County. It describes various improvement options in the improved, enhanced, and aspirational categories. The improved network options could be funded with WCTA’s current budget while projects in the other categories would require additional funding.
