Atlantic City Electric Proposes Major Energy Efficiency Project

Atlantic City Electric has proposed a major project, to modernize and enhance the energy grid across its service area in southern New Jersey. The company is going to invest about $220 million, which works out to approximately $4.30 on the monthly bill of the average residential customer.

The planned upgrade will improve the system’s reliability and resiliency, increase energy efficiency provide better customer service, and support new tools and programs to help customers save money and energy, according to a recent filing with New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
