“B Week” collection will begin on November 13 and “A Week” collection will start on November 20.

On August 30, the City of Houston’s Solid Waste Department suspended curbside recycling services so that it could focus on the removal of debris generated by Hurricane Harvey. And now, the city is gearing up to resume curbside recycling services in November.

“B Week” collection will begin on November 13 and “A Week” collection will start on November 20. Residents are being encouraged to place only the following items in their recycling carts for collection: paper, cardboard, clean food cartons, plastic contains #1-5 and 7, aluminum cans and bimetal cans.
