Indianapolis has been ranked one of the worst cities for recycling. It recycles only 7 percent of trash, and it’s the biggest municipality without a curbside recycling program servicing every household, according to a report by IndyStar.
The city’s recycling rate is far below the rate of San Francisco (80 percent) and Seattle (60 percent).
