The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), the Voice of the Recycling Industry, Board of Directors announced its position on chemical recycling at its July meeting. The full policy was adopted by ISRI’s Board of Directors on July 14, 2022.
The policy states:
ISRI recognizes that innovation is a constant in the recycling industry. ISRI supports private and public efforts aimed at developing new recycling processes and technologies and encouraging manufacturers to adopt Design for Recycling principles in their operations.
