A group suing Waste Management says noxious odors from the High Acres Landfill in New York is denying their right to clean air and water.
The lawsuit is the first filed against a waste company under the new Green Amendment that state voters passed in November 2021. WM states it already has settled a separate case involving residents two and a half miles and closer to the property.
