Arizona DOT to hold hearing on five-year construction plan

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will hold a public hearing Friday to discuss the 2023-2027 Tentative Five-Year Transportation Facilities Construction Program.

The agency’s recommended plan for the next five years of statewide construction projects allocates $571 million for the widening of highways or improving interchanges; more than $2.5 billion in pavement preservation projects; $360 million annually for the preservation of bridges and roadways; and approximately $463 million in projects that improve highway safety, efficiency and functionality.
