Beltsville, Md.-based Sun Recycling is donating 36,000 N95 respirator masks to healthcare workers in the Washington, D.C., area who are working on the frontlines during the COVID-19 crisis.
The company received the unopened boxes of masks a few months ago and decided to hold on to them in case there was a use. That use just happened to come sooner than later, as the coronavirus made its way into the Washington, D.C., area.
