This Halloween, one person’s trash may just be another’s last-minute costume.
In an effort to celebrate Halloween in a more sustainable way, here are a few tips to reduce the amount of trash we generate:
- Use old clothing or visit thrift shops for costumes
- Recycle clean bottles, cans, paper and cardboard
- Compost your pumpkins
- Toss candy wrappers in the trash or make something artsy with them
